Healing Is Not Always Loud

A journal of healing, self-reflection, motherhood, and the silent strength of women.

There was a time when I felt completely broken.
Maybe it was because of me, or maybe because everything around me felt like it was falling apart. Inside, it felt as if my whole world was scattering.

That was one of the darkest periods of my life.

And then suddenly, life brought unexpected news — we were going from three to four.

I was expecting.

It was a beautiful feeling, but emotionally it was also a time of deep confusion and breakthrough.

I have always been a deeply emotional person.
Someone who looks for support. Someone who feels things very intensely.

And during that time, I felt like I had no strength left to handle everything on my own.

Things between us were not right.
Maybe they had reached a point where we were not sure if we wanted to move forward together anymore.

But time has its own way of changing things.

Maybe it was our partnership.
Maybe it was love.
Or maybe it was simply the quiet feeling that we could not give up on each other.

Still, that period of loneliness changed me.

My emotions were at their peak, and yet there were moments when I felt completely alone.

And somewhere in that silence, I started discovering something about myself.

My strength.

I realized that even when everything around me felt uncertain, I was still capable of standing up again.

That period made me stronger in ways I never imagined.

And that is how I began to rise.

And quietly, she is still rising.

This reflection is part of the journal series “She Is Still Rising.”
